Entrance
The ACC has two main entrances. The Cityside where visitors will arrive from the piazza from the Albert Dock or city centre. The other is on the Riverside of the building, where the taxi and coach drop-off point is located. You can use either however HIS 2018 registration desks will be located closer to the Cityside entrance.

Travelling to Liverpool by rail

Liverpool Lime Street station is located in the heart of the city and is situated just 20 minutes’ walk from ACC Liverpool. There is a circular bus service run by City Link which runs every 12 minutes around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool.

Cardiff – 3hours 35 minutes
Edinburgh and Glasgow - 3 hours 45 minutes
London - 2 hours
Manchester – 45 minutes

Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport both under a 45 minute drive from the city.

Travelling to Liverpool by road

Public transport is the easiest way to reach Liverpool however if you do choose to drive, the city has good road infrastructure and numerous car parking facilities.


From the M6 take the M62, M58 or M56 into Liverpool.
Journey times:
Birmingham – 1 hour 50 minutes (98m/157km)
Cardiff – 3 hours 35 minutes (206m/331km)
Edinburgh and Glasgow - 3 hours 40 minutes (220m/354km)
London – 3 hours 50 minutes (210m/338km)
Manchester – 50 minutes (34m/55km)

Parking
There are a number of secure, inexpensive car parking options available for visitors to ACC Liverpool.
The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is currently closed.

Tariff: Monday – Sunday 24 Hours, up to 1 hour £2.00, up to 2 hours £5.00, up to 5 hours £7.00, up to 9 hours £10.00, up to 24 hours £15.00.

Additional car parking is available just five minutes’ walk away, with 3,000 spaces spread across three separate sites. Many car parks are secure and open 24 hours. Here are some of the options:

Liverpool is a sea port and offers regular daily services to and from Belfast, Dublin and the Isle of Mann.
