We will provide sponsorship of up to £1,000 to assist with the organisation of events that focus on the prevention and control of healthcare-acquired infections, to be held in an academic or healthcare setting, aimed specifically at healthcare professionals.
Types of events sponsored:
Priority for funding will be given to events that would not go ahead without HIS support.
The sponsorship package from the Society will include:
An agreed level of financial support (up to £1,000)
Promoting the event to members and a listing on the HIS website.

Successful applicants will be advised approximately 3 weeks after submission.
Applications are only open to HIS members. Individuals must be a HIS members before the date of application.
Events should be held in an academic or healthcare setting and can also take place in a virtual online format. Events should be aimed specifically at an audience of healthcare professionals. Priority for funding will be given to events that would not go ahead without HIS support.
