Dr Blandina Blackburn is a Consultant in Occupational Medicine with a current interest in Doctor’s Health, Immunisations of Staff and Management of Neurodisabilities in the workforce. She is the current chair of ANHOPS(Association of NHS Occupational Physicians) , Amember of BMA occupational medicine and contributed with a chapter on Women’s Health in the workplace in the new edition of Fitness to work. She has worked with GMC on their recently published ‘Welcomed and valued:’ Supporting disabled learners in medical education and training. She is planning to work with PHE on certain immunisations of the NHS workforce and has contributed in the past to documents on pertussis, Varicella and TB.
