The Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) is seeking members who are interested in contributing to its activities in advocating for and promoting the IPC workforce. This includes collaborating with partner organisations and ensuring IPC remains at the forefront of workforce policy and planning.

At a time when Infectious diseases and  global trends of increasing AMR present an escalating challenge to the UK health system, a robust, sustainable, specialist workforce is essential to  prevent avoidable infections in healthcare, safeguard the public, and ensure health system resilience.
