Vanessa MacGregor is a Medical Doctor working as a Consultant in Communicable Disease Control with Public Health England based at the East Midlands Public Health England Centre in Nottingham. She joined the Health Protection Agency, the predecessor organisation to Public Health England, in 2006 after completing specialist training in Public Health Medicine. She has a Masters Degree in Public Health and is a Fellow of the United Kingdom Faculty of Public Health. Her main interests are Vaccine Preventable Diseases, Immunisation and Travel Health. She is a member of the United Kingdom Advisory Panel on Bloodborne Virus Infected Healthcare Workers (UKAP).
