Don't panic!

This conference is being organised in association with the Infection Prevention Society.

The annual Don’t panic! conference takes a practical approach to current infection control issues and will be of interest to microbiologists, infection control practitioners, public health staff and biomedical scientists working in this area.

The 2019 programme will include sessions on:

  • What to do about CPEs (or not) 
  • Sequencing – from theory to practice 
  • The role of behaviour in IPC and AMS 

This meeting has been approved by the Royal College of Pathologists for 5 CPD credits.

Abstract submission is now closed.  The presenting authors of accepted oral communication abstracts will be awarded free registration to attend the conference.

The DIPC development day will take place on Thursday 20 June, immediately following Don't Panic! and will also be held at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
This event will be focused on 'Outbreaks and the DIPC: managing the fallout' and all current or aspiring DIPCs and Deputy DIPCs are invited to attend.

Payment

Please note that payment is online by credit or debit card only and places are only secured once full payment is received. Invoices for payment will not be issued for this event.

Cancellation or non-attendance

Cancellations will be accepted in writing by email to admin@his.org.uk up to 14 days prior to the event and the registration fee will be refunded in full. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event or for delegates who do not attend on the day.

Certificate of attendance

A Certificate of attendance will be provided after the event for delegates who attend the full day.
